Black Curriculum Charity Necklace

Hi All,

Just wanted to pop in quickly to let you know that I was inspired by my fellow lovely maker Beth over at Ami and Lo to create a piece of jewellery with all profits going to The Black Curriculum.

The Black Curriculum is an initiative that teaches Black history all year round in the school year, to 8-16 year olds. They deliver their content into schools, using a range of art modes such as drama and poetry. They also provide consultations and training for teachers across the country to teach Black history all year round.

I really wanted to do something to contribute to helping the Black Lives Matter movement and I was inspired to donate some of my profits by Beth at Ami and Lo who is selling these fab earrings and doing the same. You can buy them in here shop here: Ami and Lo

This is my necklace, its a Black Polka Dot ‘Amelia’ Fabric Necklace. It is made with t-shirt yarn so is wonderfully textured and kind to the environment too!

You can find it here to buy – Black Curriculum Charity Necklace

I have sold 4 of these so far and I would love to sell a few more this month to donate some extra funds to The Black Curriculum.

Thanks

Lucy x
